I’m Tracy Rittmueller

Care-partner to a spouse living with memory loss

Associate Member of Saint Benedict’s Monastery

Founder of the Slippery Joy community

Since the early 1990’s, I’ve been writing poems and stories for readers’ nourishment, encouragement, and solace.

In 2018, I began facilitating contemplative, creative self-expression classes with growing awareness of the factors that can support or hinder authentic connection to our inner wisdom, others, nature, and a meaningful way of life.

Connect to your inner wisdom— express your truth, feel cherished, and self-determine what matters to you.

Through mentoring and group facilitation, I work with people who want to experience meaning, joy, and sacred connection while living with irretrievable losses.

No one-size-fits-all prescriptions here!

My services and our community may work especially well for you,

because everything is designed to meet your needs, if:

  • You love good books AND you need some solitude

  • You crave authentic friendships

  • Compassion and kindness are important to you

  • You may or may not be religious—either way, spirituality matters

  • You see inter-spiritual encounters as a way to deepen our collective wisdom

Still Life, Broken and Repaired

“These poems delve to the very deepest levels of loss and grief, yet still contain glimmers of healing light and renewal.”
